The proof of ownership is an official deed prepared by a notary at the moment a property changes hands. This legal document confirms that the buyer has become the rightful owner of the property. After signing, the notary registers the deed with the Dutch Land Registry (Kadaster) to make the ownership official and publicly accessible.
